HOG’s March to the UK

On the morning of March 13th 2015 a flight of four Davis-Monthan, AFB A-10C Thunderbolt II’s from the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron arrived at RAF Lakenheath for a week long deployment where they attempted to participate in JTAC and range work.

But unfortunately that didn’t go to plan because of low cloud cover over the range which obviously impairs the pilots view from seeing ground targets. But Reheat Aviation was fortunate enough to witness the recovery of one mission and the departure of the flight back to Spangdahlem AFB, Germany.
